Vercel is where we usually ship Next.js apps. Every pull request gets its own preview link, production deploys come from your main branch, and the app reaches Supabase, PostgreSQL or your APIs through environment variables kept out of the code. We also move apps to Vercel from other hosts, and away from it when another host suits you better.

Do we need Vercel to run Next.js?
No. Next.js also runs on Netlify, Render, AWS or your own servers. Vercel needs the least setup, which is why we usually start there.
Can you move our app to Vercel?
Yes. We set up the project, copy the environment variables, test a preview deployment and then switch the domain, with a quick way back if anything goes wrong.
Whose Vercel account is it?
Yours. We work as members of your Vercel team, and you can remove our access at any time.
