AirtableData layer

Airtable automation, integration and migration

We automate and connect Airtable bases, and when a business outgrows them, we move the data to PostgreSQL or Supabase. We’ve done it for Scalers, and for a hospitality business with around 1,300 attachments.

What we build

What we build with Airtable

Automations and integrations

Airtable connected to Slack, your CRM and forms with n8n, Make.com or scripts.

Migration to a real database

Bases redesigned as a relational schema in PostgreSQL or Supabase, with attachments and links kept.

Apps that replace views

Retool or Next.js apps with proper roles, once Airtable interfaces aren’t enough.

Why Widle

Airtable while it fits, and a clean way out when it doesn’t

Airtable is a great place to start. When record limits, slow views or permissions get in the way, we move you to a proper database without stopping work.

  1. 01

    Done it before

Scalers moved from Airtable to a Retool app on PostgreSQL; a hospitality business moved to Supabase with a live sync.

  2. 02

    No downtime

An incremental sync keeps Airtable and the new database in step until you switch.

  3. 03

    Nothing lost

Records, links and attachments counted and checked before and after the move.

Airtable FAQs

When should we leave Airtable?

When you hit record or automation limits, views get slow, or you need permissions Airtable can’t give. If it still fits, we’ll help you get more out of it instead.

What happens to our attachments and linked records?

Attachments move to storage and links become proper relations. We count everything before and after the move.

Can we keep working during the move?

Yes. We sync Airtable and the new database incrementally until you’re ready to switch.
