Both host Next.js and React well. Vercel makes Next.js, so new Next.js features tend to land there first. Netlify is a strong pick for marketing sites and teams using several frameworks. We’re happy on either.
Can Netlify run our backend?
Small parts of it. Functions handle webhooks, form processing and API calls. For long-running jobs, queues or a database, we pair Netlify with Supabase, Render or AWS.
Can you fix a failing Netlify build?
Yes. We read the build log, pin the Node version and dependencies, and make the build repeatable.
