Why Widle
Not a freelancer marketplace
Marketplaces are fine for a quick task. For work your product depends on, here’s what changes when you hire through us.
| Typical marketplace | Hiring through Widle | |
|---|---|---|
| Who you work with | Whoever bids on your job | Full-time Widle employees, shortlisted for your stack; you interview them and choose |
| If it doesn’t work out | Start the search again | A 2-week trial, then a free replacement if the developer isn’t the right fit |
| Hours | Whatever the freelancer has free that week | A guaranteed 160 hours a month on dedicated hiring, or hourly when you need it |
| Visibility | Messages and timesheets you have to chase | Tasks in Jira, hours tracked in Hubstaff, daily or weekly reports by email |
| Code review | Usually nobody else looks at the code | On a team engagement, a lead plans the work and reviews the code |
| Time zone | Online when the freelancer is | Work hours that overlap your time zone |
| Track record | A profile and star ratings | Building software since 2015, 5.0 on Clutch from 8 verified reviews, Official Retool Agency Partner |

Hiring developers: FAQs
What’s the difference between dedicated and hourly hiring?
A dedicated developer works on your project full-time, with a guaranteed 160 hours a month. Hourly hiring suits a defined backlog or ongoing improvements, with billable hours tracked in Hubstaff.
Will the developer work in our time zone?
Our team is based in Ahmedabad, India. Our standard hours, 9:00 am–7:00 pm IST, cover most of the UK and European working day. For US teams we shift the developer’s hours to overlap with yours, agreed per engagement.
How do we choose the developer?
You share your requirements, we send profiles of suitable developers, and your team interviews the shortlist and picks who to work with.
